I realized I would have prefered if Mandy was the agent of revenge instead of Nicolas Cage. The husband could have been the one who was killed by the cult (who in that case probably wouldn't be played by Nicolas Cage). I'm gonna be in the minority, but I didn't enjoy Cage in this movie very much. His face looks kinda weird now (like an aging actor after plastic surgeries) and I didn't like how cartoonish he was on his revenge quest, i.e. screaming about his shirt getting ripped or snapping that guy's neck as if he was a ragdoll. I loved the first part of the movie but didn't feel the same about the second part.

I didn't dislike second half of the movie as a whole but some of the crazyness was jarring. Like when red arms himself with a box cutter to fight he demon bikers instead of the huge metal pipe he just smashed one of the with.
