You can determine people's height and weight through their posts?

I dunno where to pose this question but here but are there any decent tech / programming / data podcasts that aren't just poorly veiled advertising for whatever VC unicorn hunters?

engines are odd in that the first 90% of their performance requires 10% of the tuning, and the last 10% requires 90% of the tuning.

OK well that's not odd at all for us computer touchers, but still

the ole 350 in my blazer got 7 mpg and couldnt go above 50mph then i did the most basic of carb rebuilds on it and also replaced the old distributor which was stuck at about 20 degrees, uhhh, past top dead center shall we say, and it instantly jumped to 14-16 mpg and could roll on the freeway no problemo

yeah on the surface, the most impressive part is always just getting the engine running, but unless the block is seized or filled with water/rust, they usually spring right back to life. the real work is all the other little things like rotted out seals, brake lines, exhaust, ball joints, literally everything that is exposed to the outside

Seconded.

code:
git config --global rerere.enabled true
Yanked this from the video and shared with a coworker. I never knew this existed and is 100% the most annoying part of getting people to adopt the concept of rebasing because of the "multiple merge conflicts of the same conflict" issue. Even I end up squashing my branch before I rebase because I hate dealing with multiple merge conflicts of the same conflict.
