How are you going to tolerate BC and the Yukon other than abject fear ? I'm currently reading Indianapolis: The True Story Of The Worst Sea Disaster In US Naval History... It's loving long and interesting. See if you can find an audio copy of it. Another incredibly long one is The Making Of The Atomic Bomb, by Richard Rhodes.
