Skimmed through the list. So far most hyped for Thunderbolt fantasy 2. Also will have to check out bookstore skeleton. Also, space fishermen maybe? Will probably end up watching Slime reincarnation, because i read the webnovel. when i was going through my non-human protagonist phase. But eh, doubt that will be very good. It hardly mattered that he was a slime very soon after the beginning anyway. I'm more hyped for Kumo Desu but i guess that isn't gonna happen this season. Also why the gently caress is that conception game getting an anime. Dammit japan.

From the way people have written about it itt (or better said, previous iterations of this thread + the general chat thread), it seems like every "Isekai or Fantasy Web/Light Novel" but instead of slavery or harems, it's about goblins being horrifying little shits in very explicit, very tasteless detail.

Aincrad arc is fun if a bit trashy, and has a few interesting things going on in it. The second arc was really unremarkable imo except for the final fight in the parking lot. That fight's a really clumsy slugfest cause it's happening in real life. I just rewatched it and was actually super invested even without the full context, that part rules. I haven't seen much of the third arc, but if this latest season is roughly as good as the first one I'd gladly jump in again.

All I’m saying is SAO is an extremely fun show to hate-watch with friends, and if you don’t believe me you can ask the Toonami thread as it’s been the source of some great times in there. I recommend watching it with a service that lets you live-chat about it with other people.

Not that invested in SAO: Alicization, tbh. Though that may be in part due to the fact that I already read the whole arc that's getting adapted and have no interest in seeing "if there's anything different/memorable about the anime adaptation". Same kinda goes for Index and most of what's left to adapt from the Monogatari novels.
