Yeah, Part 3 really picks up when they finally ditch the tagalong kid for good. I don’t disagree that Jotaro isn’t particularly compelling outside of the action in his debut part, either. Like, you get hints that beneath the cool, collected front he puts up that he’s the biggest loving dork of the group, but that’s pretty much entirely off-screen and only inferred, unfortunately.

It honestly took me a few episodes to realize that it was Vic because I didn’t bother to read the credits, but something tickled the back of my mind and made me go “wait a minute... OH GODDAMMIT” I’m thinking JYB is going to replace him for this part. And in slightly more positive dub news, it’s finally all caught up again. I know it’s probably a longshot, but I kind of hope that if we do get an SO confirmation, we also get a simuldub for it.
