Thanks for another great year of movies Lurd! Real standouts for me this year were WINTERBEAST, Night of the Demons 2, Scarab, Nail Gun Massacre, and The Mill At Calder's End. Lots of other good stuff in there though, I was very surprised I actually mostly liked Chucky since I figured that was going to be a complete waste. Night of the Demons 2 was particularly interesting because going into it I was confusing the series for Soul of the Demons, which I had watched a year or two ago. However as it turned out, I actually had seen Night of the Demons 1 before as well, when I was around 13 years old. Yeah.  Puppet Master was also a big surprise because I remembered liking that one, but I guess I must have entirely blocked out everything but the last 15 minutes of the movie or something. What a dull loving slog that movie is.

I've really enjoyed doing the stream. While a good chunk of the films I'd already seen, it was really nice watching them again with others. I really wish I'd known about this sooner and I'm making this an October tradition for as long as it lasts. Thanks Lurd, this was mad fun.

I posted this in the other thread, but thought it more appropriate here... Did I mention I got married in the middle of the month? Me and the new Mrs.Dr. Caligari actually spent our Honeymoon night watching the stream.... well, part of it.. Is that a first? Anyway, not trying to toot my own horn, but share how the stream has became a highlight of our favorite time of year and now a good memory in this part of our life (not that it wasn't before, we've watched since the first one). If I were an extrovert and rich, I no doubt would have invited everyone and had a pizza buffet Thank you all for the stream, especially Lurd, Sin and the rest that put in work behind the scenes to make this work. Happy Halloween boils and ghouls! Tomorrow's the last night of the Scream Stream, but it's also Halloween night. So we're going with something special but also something more casual. Something you can drop in and out of while you hand out candy, or catch the tail end of as you return from a shindig with friends. So we're starting at 5 PM EST tomorrow, and going til the deep dark hours of the night. We're kicking off with...  Creepshow followed by...  Creepshow 2 and then...  Hack-O-Lantern and we're finishing the night with...  The WNUF Halloween Special Also, all throughout the evening we'll see a few last episodes of...  Tales from the Cryptkeeper And maybe we'll squeeze in a little more  Freddy's Nightmares As well as a few other surprises! Drop by and get your scare on!
