Just kidding I’m not buying Mega Man 11 unless reviews are good, and besides I need to still beat 9 and 10 first so I don’t get spoiled on 11’s plot.

Mega Peach would still be neat though, Mega Man with hover would be pretty sweet.

Yeah if you destroy your copy of Xenoblade 2 it just reverts back to its core crystal. It will resonate again with whoever touches it after a recharge, if they have the ability to resonate.

I think you have to JO with a bud, each with a JoyCon in hand, to recharge the Xenoblade crystal.

Fortunately 90% of game time in Xenoblade is spent JOing to sword tits so it’s not that hard.

Switch 2 sounds boring, where is mariopartychat

I think Mario Party only supports JoyCons and not Pro Controllers...

When I boot up Splatoon 2 and hear the squids talk about maps, I get a feeling of dread and despair, and every time I grab my Nintendo Labo brand knife and contemplate ending it all, only for images of Bowsette to pop up in my mind to remind me that life is still worth living.

Then they stop talking and I have fun playing Splatoon 2.

I think Alwa's might be the same price actually, but it's good, I'm enjoying it a lot! It's tricky, some of the jumps are pretty precise but it's not obnoxious about it and it's not a game about upgrading your attacks and weapons so far at least so every critter you see can be lethal if you're not careful. All the animations are really charming too. Just a good as heck NES-like adventure

Chip-tune or whatever doesn't generally do that much for me but the music has been really nice so far, this intro area track is ridiculously catchy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9XU9tKwiojA

I’ve also been enjoying it myself. It’s a bit short and can be challenging, but it’s a nice puzzle-platformer and has an assist mode to remove tedium if you want. Bosses are mostly about memorizing patterns and picking your opportunities to strike, especially early om when you’re stuck with a short melee attack, but it’s satisfying when you finally get it down and pull off the win. It’s also interesting how the game incentivizes exploration, as finding the blue orbs results in dealing free hits to the bosses before each boss battle.

If the gameplay seems at all appealing based on that, I definitely recommend it.
