I have a feeling that this ain't going to be a repeat. Troy/GSU game looks like it has the hallmarks of a blowout.

Over on EPSN-U, we're talking about going to a soccer-style Yellow Card/Red Card system for Targeting fouls.

These games are bad in a boring way, not in a clown-ball way.

These quick strike offenses just don't work in the long run, two three and outs and literally anybody can just run ball control on you

Based on the current score you'd think Tulsa/UH is an interesting game. It is not. E: OK, I have a glimmer of interest now with the sack-fumble. Proteus Jones fucked around with this message at 04:07 on Oct 5, 2018 |

I found a Texas A&M logo carved into the Colloseum. Of course it would be aggie that would do that. I also found a Washington-like W and an ISU that could be anyone. But the logo bothered me.

Wow, I saw the Cosby/Charlie Strong picture upthread and was about to post this exact image. I actually went to this. In the summer after Patrick Dennehy's murder (2003), Baylor was dealing with an avalanche of bad press and Bill Cosby for whatever reason felt sorry for Baylor and Waco and came and did a show at the football stadium for free. Here's a write-up on it from the time https://www.baylor.edu/mediacommunications/news.php?action=story&story=5467 Life Coming At You Fast posted:Bill Cosby's "Spirit Rally" for Baylor University fell like a hard Texas rain on parched land as the beloved comedian brought much-needed laughter to more than 20,000 Baylor students, faculty, staff and Central Texans Sept. 4 at Floyd Casey Stadium. A&M has an annual "first yell" rally before the season with a celebrity guest of some kind. Cosby did it 3 times in the aughts, but somehow there seems to be no photographic evidence other than a very grainy video on youtube of the 2008 one, not even worth screencapping since you can't make out who it is. As one might expect, the likes of Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall, and Jeff Dunham have done it. Wayne Brady did it during his moment as a Chappelle's Show meme. But the one that sounds awesome to me is Martin Short in 2002. You have to remember, this is way before the Sumlin/Johnny Football era of "swag" at A&M. There was nothing hip about it. Picturing a confused Martin Short leading thousands of insane shitkickers in their crazy football chants (not even at a football game mind you) is really hilarious to me.

I saw Bill Engvall at a Longhorn rally the night before the 2006 Rose Bowl. He said "If you don't think the Longhorns are going to beat USC, heeeeeeeeere's your sign." and the place erupted.
