It's hard not to like Hardy, and Venom's design was nice. It's fun that we've reached a point where some of the larger-than-life comic designs are being translated to the screen (e.g. Colossus and the Juggernaut in Deadpool). But the script was horrrrrriiiiiible and the action scenes were a mess. And the movie suffered from not being R-rated.
