Viz just released the third volume of the physical version of Homestuck, and the fourth is releasing at the start of February.

Homestuck is still around and not going anywhere for a while.

How does that work with the interactive bits?

I know it was pre CG but was there any rear end in a top hat outcry to Faiza Hussain becoming the wielder of Excalibur (and alternate reality Captain Britain)

In is weird, even though I think the book is about vampires. Enough about teeth, though. Let's talk about hands.

That plot doesn't sound like it has anything at all in common with the X-Men.

Nathan W. Pyle. He does Strange Planet, I guess? I've never heard of it or him.

It is the webcomic about the aliens who are extremely literal. It is only one joke (the aliens are extremely literal) told over and over again with slight variations.

I just checked and they've had three negative Brie Larson stories in the last week  so yeah.

I don't remember what it was off the top of my head but some other chud site came up in my news feed and was trying to push a narrative about Marvel/Disney execs hate Brie Larson.

Why on earth would someone do this? It's gonna gently caress up their own career immensely.

If I had to guess the person who made the claim probably plagiarized something from Bunn and got called out on it. So they just claimed that they actually wrote it because Bunn hires ghost writers to try and lie their way out of being caught. Which is what happened when some stand up comedian stole Patton Oswalt's "failure bowl" routine.

They're not only using barely altered models they're also using a name that seems designed to cause confusion.

That was legit my first guess from that headline. Certainly more fitting

I was thinking they were going to call themselves The Purifiers because that seems like something some right wing group would unironically call themselves.

I've heard allegations of that in other collectable markets, to increase the perception of current value and to make it seem like it is appreciating and there is demand.

Yeah, that's the big thing with what's going on with the videogame collectible market where the people who grade, the people who run the auctions and the people who sell are frequently the same people.

The only thing I know about him is that he complained that the main character in the She-Ra reboot wasn't sexy. Which, you know, is the main priority for a show aimed at little girls.

For anyone actually interested in learning why NFTs are terrible there's a two hour long video by Dan Olson which gives a good rundown.

There's no way the policy worked the way he says it does simply to avoid a situation where someone could claim that they submitted an idea and it got stolen.

looks like Titan Comics picked up Kamen Rider Kuuga for release and just completely boned it

https://twitter.com/ThatDamienHedge/status/1618318044270559232

the pages in white are the preview images Titan put out, which look and flow much better then the actual books they put out which look machine translated.

Also that first line of the second paragraph feels real sketchy, like that could be interpreted as false advertisement

There's also something weird going on at Amazon with a digital version of Takehiko Inoue's Vagabond. There's no publisher listed (Viz still has the rights to an American release,) the author isn't listed as Inoue but instead some lady named Amanda Howard who seems to mostly write true crime books and the quality is just garbage. Looking like a bad scanlation.

Webtoons is pushing some really bad contracts. Basically "we'll throw you a couple grand and we own everything" kind of deals.
