Have been using it as the main browser at work and at home for over a year. It had a bunch of annoying stability issues initially but it seems fine right now, suits my needs. If you think web panel stuff is neat then stack a few tabs and right click the stack and select "tile tab stack" magic poo poo happens.

yeah it fuckin owns i used opera for a decade before it turned to poo poo, then used firefox with a bunch of extensions in a poor attempt to recreate as many of opera's features as possible Vivaldi feels like wearing a comfortable pair of old shoes. a few tweaks and extensions, it's great.

my only concern is how they make money. at some point I imagine they'll either go bust or start selling user information somehow because it's cyberpunk hellworld and everything sucks

vivaldi is fine. kinda slow, but it has mouse gestures so its head and shoulders above most other browsers. its not as adjustable as opera was, but nothing is i guess

Their bug tracker is private, though, and that is annoying as poo poo. I submitted a bug a while back any my only way to check on its status is to post on their forums and ask about bug #x they need to open that poo poo up

theoretically couldn’t they continue to patch vulnerabilities without making the whole pc slower I mean now the windows store is trying to sell him a game with pop ups from the Microsoft store all he wants is a screen that can watch Netflix and YouTube.. a smart tv would be more than enough but regardless, he has an underpowered all in one and windows ten is not smooth on it. if a new browser was better than chrome for that I’d install it I think
