Antivehicular posted:I recall a very old (and non-SA) message board thread from an adult-video-store clerk who cited the VHS version of this problem as the worst part of her job. Seems legit. True Porn Clerk Stories, on improvisation.ws. The site is long gone but the Wayback Machine provides at least the first page: https://web.archive.org/web/20051215081613/http://www.improvisation.ws/mb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4475 It's not quite a librarian experience but you will probably recognize some common themes. After the site went down the author of the thread made a book True Porn Clerk Stories that is currently available on Amazon.

My Lovely Horse posted:They took all the boring admin work off my desk and gave it to someone else so I would be able to devote more time to making videos and doing design stuff and such. I'm supposed to make a list of expensive A/V equipment I need and it is my understanding this will be purchased and handed over to me more or less without question. You'll almost certainly learn, and yeah after a year you'll go back and cringe at your first one but relax. You'll be fine!

I have to admit I had only ever known the game as "bean bag toss" growing up in the South but I knew about the other meaning of the word so when my first job said the annual picnic would have a "cornhole tournament" I had to privately ask my office mate what the hell was going on.

Leperflesh posted:and all of them remember your last few so you can't keep using them Sure you can. There is almost never a minimum time enforced between password changes, so if you want to keep using the same one but it remembers the last six then just change your password seven times in a row and make the last one the one you started with. Now this kind of supposes that you have a good strong password and are doing everything else right but just have an asinine password expiration policy, so it may be a terrible idea depending on the circumstances.

At this point you can safely assume that any municipal recycling program in the US is just sending everything that isn't scrap copper straight to the landfill.
