sounds like an overreaction. germs arent atomz (and atomz arent some metaphysical infection that infects the very matter itself and is imposible to remove unless a magical ritual is done) like have they thought of using dry heat to disinfect them? like get a small enclosed space and a space heat and make the books experience a desert heat wave for a few hours or a day. physical media needs physical space, like from a purely beep boop logic place weeding is good, like i guess its good people have an emotional reaction, but then they have cold feet on how on a solution. im not a graphic artists, but theres still some color there, like that gray looks blueish and that wood has some yellow. Also the kids flesh still has color.

i hate how sooo many important things still dont have mobile versions of their websites. oh and mobile sites are still crappy and then do things like request pdf downloads or other things that are still best done with a real computer.
