Why would they write numbers directly on migrants' bodies, that just seems dehumanizing. You could give them a ticket or something that has a number on it. Marking a person by writing directly on their body has some bad historical connotations too. Why would Americans do this?

sort of reminds me of how Nazis aren't portrayed as anything but sinister functionaries in media anymore because now we're doing all the horrible stuff they did that made them actually evil, so if you portray that in a negative light your project gets shut down because the DoD threatens your company with cutting funding and supplies

AWWWW poo poo i feel like my shitposting powers have elevated today so yeah, merging/editing gifs frame by frame blows rear end, as we all know so if you learn a video editor (i'm using premiere), you can stack them as clips, manipulate them how you want, use motion/sizing tools etc. that automate the bulk of the work then i stuck a green matte background behind it, exported as PNG preserving the alpha channel, it poo poo out 170 PNGs w/transparent backgrounds, and no fuzziness around the edges since it was all rendered without any compression, then I batch uploaded to ezgif.com and turned into this gif. now that i know what i'm doing, the whole process will take a couple minutes, and no laborious frame by frame editing. if you like doing GIF poo poo posts, i highly highly highly recommend downloading a movie maker like Premiere and learning the basics, it's SOOOOOO easy, i've only been using it for a few months and I've picked up a lot.
