I really liked the ending and the epilogue, but the problem with it is that Arthur as a character really grew on me massively in chapter 5 and 6, so I decided to replay the game until chapter 3 and just explore in perpetuity from there. John is a great character and I enjoyed the post game stuff with him, especially exploring New Austin, but I think I just need to play more as Arthur when he's not sick. Gonna go and grow a huge beard and become a mountain man I think.

Yeah I didn't actually do a lot of messing around in my first playthrough. The story kind of snowballed and I was enjoying it so I just powered through.

The epilogue would have been better served by being like the first game: switch to new character with a stinger revenge mission you can find if you wander around. Finding out how marston got his bank loan and all the other tedious prequel crap was like watching paint dry

I thought that was all really great, a nice change of pace from the craziness that was chapter's 5 and 6.
