When I was 17, my father was so stupid, I didn't want to be seen with him in public. When I was 24, I was amazed at how much the old man had learned in just 7 years.
I think Arizona will be middle of the Pac-12, maybe go farther in the Pac tournament than they should.

Pac-12 is bad this year but Oregon is really talented. They aren’t UCLA, they usually don’t throw top ten recruiting classes in the garbage, they will probably get it together.

Arizona is weird this year in that it is very much not the powerhouse of previous years but they seem to be executing the offense really well so far. But November basketball is sort of pointless and defenses are bad even by college standards.

Radford won at Texas after already winning at Notre Dame this season.

Well I guess they won't sneak up on anyone in March (they probably still will).

Bulls just fired Fred Hoiberg so expect him to be the top name for every open college job this year. This one would make me happy since it involves Hoiberg somewhere other than ISU and Steve Alford getting fired

I don't remember what Hoiberg is like as a college coach at all. My brain says "lateral move" without any evidence.

I wish the Pac was a little better so Arizona having a chance of winning it still despite everything was a bigger, easier to crow about accomplishment.

I thought Sean Miller got caught or something developed or something but nope the old tv sports guy just decided to run a slightly edited repeat of a story they had in the can from a year ago because Miller missed his press conference today due to illness and they didn't have anything else to talk about. Basically all "wow if this ever goes somewhere, he's in trouble!" Local media man.

I think Duke might be winning this year.
