Even though he represents the whole state in theory I'm pretty sure as an NYC pol Schumer doesn't give a gently caress about Buffalo. He just didn't have any specific objection to Walton, felt more heat over not endorsing her than he would've felt from Brown's machine, and gave into the public pressure - good! e: And I gotta give props to the people applying that pressure.
