it could very well be that closed-minded traditional evolutionists are rejecting new science and being fail or it could be that all this new stuff is actually bullshit after all the writer covers EES proponents' arguments for it in considerable detail, but makes no real attempt to reckon with counterarguments of skeptics. it barely mentions them, and even when it does, it handwaves them away as if they're meaningless that's a big red flag, imo. pseudoscience types who shill nonsense love to rely on this narrative of stodgy old scientists stuck in their old ways and ignoring or suppressing new research
