GIRL BRAINS posted:You never see any people ghosts in the world of Pokemon. Perhaps humans are merely soulless tormentors of the Pokemon, and this is their hell You do though. A lot of it is just Japanese people apparently all think ghosts are 100% real. There's also humans with psychic powers, and teleporters. Though the teleportation tech for humans seems to suck given you can only go somewhere in the same building. Jim Long-un posted:Mew is basically the stem cell pokemon, and Mewtwo is a clone that actually exhibits sapient self-awareness, so somewhere there's a blacksite that has both isolated infinitely mutable genetic material and also managed to create sentient nonhuman life. pokemon science has solved the riddle of the flesh Well there was until Mewtwo blew it all the gently caress up.

Lote posted:Nah. Hypnos and Drowzees would be abused like Ambien There was actually an anime episode where a club of rich Pokemon admirers used Drowzee and Hypno as a sleep aid and ambient psychic waves were causing a bunch of children to think they were Pokemon and giving actual Pokemon headaches or something. It's the one where Misty accidentally catches Psyduck.

Eox posted:lot of people who don't understand how human vs pokemon would go down 9 times out of 10 itt P much, and ingame and the show you can basically catch a weaker Pokemon in one hit with some luck and perseverance. Hence why a lot of early on trainers are random kids with various Pokemon you can find in the immediate area. The game protagonists are kinda special and lucky bastards who get given a rare and powerful Pokemon right off the bat.
