Every time bad field conditions are brought up, i think back to that game where the steelers played in a swamp, and punts stuck in the ground like lawn darts of old. I was really surprised there weren't that many ankle injuries that game.

The old man in me misses those old mud games where the middle of the field would just be hosed by the 4th and you couldn't tell the teams apart by the end because they were both caked with mud. Everything is too nice these days.
