I mean for sake of that argument do we have a rate of kicks blocked from behind that long snapper? Either everyone gets to twitch the ball or no one. Dude shouldn't be a special case just because he's always done it. NFL officials are trash enough without handing them more excuses.

Well a lot of people care. Some are upset about it and others are fans of a clean football show without foolish or shoddy actions bringing down the quality of the sport. the league's revenue was over 8 billion dollars last season and many will not settle for a detached "who cares" style approach with that many dollars being scattered about. each referee makes $2.18 for every play that is run. multiple dollars to sit there and lie? Do better.

I thought the Steelers just figured they had nothing to lose by anticipating the snap count and trying to come up with a block? That makes more sense to me, hell they even did it on the final kick, went offsides and then passed completely in front of the ball before it was kicked
