The coverage of that stuff in Portugal is something else bc you have Sic (RW-owned tv station) doing a weird stance of "We're horrified at the France riots, being done by everyone we fear, but we also want that to happen here since our fuel taxes are higher (While glossing over like, EVERYTHING ELSE like the tax decreases and the crackdown on a lot of poo poo) and gently caress even having a single yellow vest person complete a sentence here (Down to mocking them for not voting Macron and for using such a lame uniform!)" while our state-owned broadcaster... actually asked the protesters about stuff. Not necessarily siding, but actually giving a run down on what lead to it.
