Choppy Choppy Your Pee Pee was on the bubble and I tried to fit it in a few times so it'd be a pretty high seed in the NIT I'd think, but watch the flood gates open and it'd end up as a 15 seed.

In 2002, White suffered a shoulder injury during a Hell in a Cell match between Triple H and Chris Jericho at Judgment Day.[2] At WrestleMania XX in 2004, White returned to referee the match between Chris Jericho and Christian; he re-injured his shoulder during the final three count of the match, forcing him to end his referee career.

The Lunchtime Suicide Series
On December 18, 2005 White made a controversial on-screen appearance at the Armageddon pay-per-view.[3] In a segment, a "despondent" White was interviewed by SmackDown! reporter Josh Mathews inside the bar he owned, the Friendly Tap in Cumberland, Rhode Island.[3] He was depicted drinking large amounts of alcohol, claiming that the aforementioned Hell in a Cell match "ruined his life."[3] He then proceeded to take a shotgun out from under the bar and, off screen, fired the gun, apparently intending to kill himself. This sketch was considered distasteful, in part due to the death of Eddie Guerrero a month earlier.[3]

On January 6, 2006, it was revealed that White had shot his foot accidentally during the "ordeal." But when asked by Mathews about his new year's resolutions, he proceeded to scarf down a box full of rat poison, and subsequently fell over in his chair. This segment was leaked onto the internet several days earlier and included was the uncut footage of the post-segment which included the producers as well as White goofing around using some mildly foul language. On January 15, 2006, White was interviewed by Mathews again, but this time he tried to hang himself; the rope broke. For weeks afterward, WWE's official website uploaded a new video showing Matthews trying to interview White who is about to commit suicide each week in a different way. This became a regular segment on WWE's website and was given the name of Lunchtime Suicide, uploaded every Thursday at lunch time.

On April 6, 2006, WWE.com uploaded a video where White did not attempt to commit suicide. In fact, he invited Mathews to a party at the Friendly Tap to take place the following week. The next week, Mathews attended the party, and ended up getting shot by White.

Voted for not paying road costs for basically the reason you said in one of the tweets, firing Dawn Marie is incredibly morally reprehensible but the road costs thing has been going for decades and has "saved" the company untold money over that time that they then do not put back toward the wrestlers, it all goes in the pocket

APA accidentally ending up at a gay bar and starting a bar fight was pretty offensive as well, considering WWE's portrayal of gay men was literally "full bearded dude in a wig wearing a dress and jeans".

But considering it's not even remotely in the realm of the most offensive things done to gay people by WWE, I can see why it wouldn't be well remembered.

My rationale was that I know William Moody wasn't cremated, so the ashes thing had a layer of separation from reality (especially since the urn had been a Taker prop for decades), whereas Paige was just told to go out there and basically say "your brother overdosed because he was weak".

I was thinking the Jake Robert's alcoholism angle they did in the mid 90's would be a low rank NIT entry but when I thought more about it I was like they had somebody recovering from alcoholism and put him in an angle about drinking. Even if Jake was an rear end in a top hat at the time that still is super horrible especially since they knew his problems from the first run. And I was like that could easily be on the list of 64.

I used the same reasoning. Firing Dawn Marie is incredibly scummy and illegal but the systematic exploitation of nearly all employees for decades is hard to beat.

The road costs thing is going to be extra lovely cause the WWE is going to be making obscene TV money and not gonna use it to pay for road costs even though paying for them would only be a minor dent in the profits they'll make over the next 3 years

I had nearly forgotten about the treatment of Chris Kanyon and then I remember that segment on Smackdown where he comes out of a crate dressed like Boy George and the Undertaker just wails on him then it ends with a really nasty unprotectected chairshot. It's pretty loving hard to watch and doesn't paint Undertaker in a good light.

Fuji and Muraco were present when police arrived and likely helped Snuka get off. I have no idea if Vince was involved directly but it's unlikely he gave the police a briefcase of money as that event was weeks later. But that's not how the rich and famous would influence a case like this in a small town anyway.

Not sure what the current situation is, but Lance Storm recently spoke about how when he came over to WWE post the WCW-Buyout, he was given a card and whenever he needed to get medical treatment in America he'd just hand it over and he'd never get any kind of bill. He didn't know the details of whatever plan or coverage he had, all he knew was,"I show them the card, they treat me, I don't get charged."

Choosing between exploiting a real war and honoring Jimmy Snuka is harder than I thought. My gut reaction says Snuka because audiences at the time seemed to reject the Sgt. Slaughter Iraqi sympathizer angle where as I know people that still revere Snuka to this day.

Exploiting the war feels like a lower seed all things considered.
