I was thinking the Jake Robert's alcoholism angle they did in the mid 90's would be a low rank NIT entry but when I thought more about it I was like they had somebody recovering from alcoholism and put him in an angle about drinking. Even if Jake was an rear end in a top hat at the time that still is super horrible especially since they knew his problems from the first run. And I was like that could easily be on the list of 64.

The road costs thing is going to be extra lovely cause the WWE is going to be making obscene TV money and not gonna use it to pay for road costs even though paying for them would only be a minor dent in the profits they'll make over the next 3 years

Developmental wins out for me cause it was a constant state of abuse of people that wanted to be in WWE. Plus they also had they nerve (and still do) of calling WWE a safer style despite that fact. The Benoit post media is bad but typical evil company bad

The Steroids win for me cause they were openly encouraging them and not just to heal injuries but also to get talent to bulk up. Also cause the death rate in the 90's and early 00's was due to steroids

Yeah the Booker T/HHH angle just wins it for me as from start to finish it was all there to humiliate Booker and in the end Racism won (Which given the WWE is not shocking now that I know more)

The problem with saying Wrestling is tasteless is that it's a thing WWE wants you to believe cause it fits their mantra of them cleaning it up. And while the business has had plenty of scummy people and evil bastards it's also had territories that were run as clean, respectable promotions. St. Louis when it was run by Muchnick was presented a straight sport and ran it's TV at a luxury hotel. Same with All Japan when Baba was alive, plus you have New Japan right now.
