The real infuriating thing about the Piggy James thing was that they had done the same thing to Molly Holly years before.

She also lost the feud in the long run, and I don't recall her ever once defending herself against their insults, just breaking down in tears every time.

I'm expecting the Pillman home invasion in the other storyline bracket. Interviewing his wife on Raw immediately after he died was scummy as gently caress too.

Just the overall treatment of Kaientai should be it's own entry for the NIT

What's the most racist gimmick from let's say the 1990s onward? I feel like that could be a tournament in and of itself.

wwe confuses me so much

Imagine having a once in a lifetime talent like Kurt Angle, and thinking you have to put him in a racist cuckold angle to draw money

Not that the Sharmell thing wasn't terrible but as I recall it was more they Kurt knew he was so over that no one cared if he said terribly offensive stuff because he'd still get cheers anyway.

Takes a billionaire to stop a billionaire.

Don't they have a billionaire sugar daddy('s son)?

I canceled the Network because of GRR and held firm in the wake of Crown Jewel, but I still paid attention to storylines and results and would watch episodes on Hulu now and then.

I don't do any of that any more. WK13 and AEW came at the right time to divest myself of this lovely company's product completely.

edit: I thought I would miss NXT, but every second of watching NXT brings 2 seconds of me wondering how badly they will inevitably gently caress up anything there when it gets called up.

I've been slowly disentangling myself over the past few years, but GRR was the end of my Network sub as well. These days I read results after the fact, sometimes watch NXT or 205, and usually watch NXT UK (though I feel bad about that given how they hosed over the UK indies). If AEW works out I'll probably stop watching WWE entirely, as it's mostly something to have on in the background while I exercise anyway.

Should have done this G1 style, that would get you a winner and a hierarchy.

Hey MRT you should send a bunch of fruit to HHH to celebrate when the tournament's over

Somebody should photoshop Mel Phillips into one of those HHH backstage with NXT signings/champions pictures.

As much as I love the Harts :canada: I feel like Stu could be on here for abusing trainees and cleaning the litter box with the same spatula he used to cook pancakes.
