it's dumb because I don't need to be reminded that I was running noscript. what sites are you guys going to where javascript performance is so bad it's a problem? literally the only sites I've seen do that are torrent sites, porn sites, and lovely clickbait news sites literally everything else seems to be fine in regards to javascript

My Linux Rig posted:what sites are you guys going to where javascript performance is so bad it's a problem? literally the only sites I've seen do that are torrent sites, porn sites, and lovely clickbait news sites on my 8 year old mbp i could play quake 3 and civilization 5, but typing text into fb messenger i had lag just waiting for the text to show up after i got my new pc i noticed suddenly that a lot of sites i go to are snappier and more responsive i guess that's what you get if you use javascript close to the metal or whatever - you end up with technology that is still trying to solve the same loving problems as we had in the 90s, except now in the browser
