I'd love for every manga (that's actually has a conclusion) to get a full adaptation, but I'm just a realist in that regard. That's why I'm so impressed with this show, it's given us the best conclusion it could with only half the material.

If they cap it off with the big movie and don't adapt the rest it'd be a shame, but it's also definitely going out on top that way. Since so many anime I like end up not being continued at all (RIP Rokka no Yuusha, source of my avatar) or having huge gaps between cours, I'm thankful to have gotten this much sweet Kaguya content.

Apparently the movie will be airing on TV and the theatrical release is more of a pre-screening: https://twitter.com/anime_kaguya/status/1546509623342993408 I'm curious to see if this ups the odds of some sort of simulcast release through Crunchyroll. I'd almost wonder if it will be chopped up into a proper episodic anime arc like with Demon Slayer/the last 2 episodes of season 3. Based on nothing but speculation, but I'd also think this makes a season 4 somewhat more likely, just for the fact that canon material won't be stuck in a theatrical release. Nah, the OVA is just veering straight into porn territory. its a rather glaring exception. The anime itself is nowhere near the same level because it actually has to air on TV somewhere. The OVA animators might have missed a trick about the chapter they're animating making fun of their profession for drawing bouncing tits.
