Leroy Fer failed a medical at Villa. Not his biggest fan but he's been playing well and losing two first team players would've been hard to take (Carroll and Montero don't play much so whatever). Glad Bony's finally gone.

Bony got malaria a few years ago so yeah that's what happened. Did his cruciates this time last year as well. He can barely jog now. His £120k/week City contract expires in the summer (they're still paying about £30k). He was never good enough for City, though.

Also Hart's decline is generally attributed to Pirlo just permanently ruining the confidence of a confidence player by chipping him with that penalty It's crazy to think that one event could break a player that badly for both circumstances though

Hart was always poo poo, the English just have no clue what a good keeper actually looks like, hth In actual transfer news, Bayern have sold Sandro Wagner to some Chinese club for 5 million €. We're utterly hosed if Lewandowski gets injured now since we literally have no other strikers (although given Wagner's performances this season, we would've been hosed with him playing too)

Joe Hart, when he was decent, got most of his value from being a really good shot stopper with enough athleticism to move about quickly. A lot like Given once his reflexes started slowing down / he lost a step his lack of other stand-out skills meant he couldn't compensate like a lot of keepers as they head towards their 30's.
