He's a flat track bully who can only do it for good teams against poo poo defences. If he's not getting 4 or 5 good chances a game he's not going to score many, classic Championship specialist.

Spurs also have no money, and making any signings is contingent on a load of players leaving, notably Dembele, Wanyama, N'Koudou, and Llorente.

Highest priority is definitely a replacement for Dembele, and Ndombele is the name I've seen the most. Would love that but it'd be beyond foolish to have any hope.

Looks like we're also planning on raiding the lower leagues for the likes of winger Jarrod Bowen and maybe Norwich fullback Max Aarons. Anyone have any idea if they're worthwhile? BSE?

Bowen's lighting it up at the moment. Dunno if he could do the same job up a tier (lot of direct running through central midfield when they trounced us for 10 minutes) but he's certainly a Championship standout right now.

Swansea's Aaron Lewis has joined high-flying Doncaster Rovers on loan in League One for the rest of the season.

There used to be a video of him as a ten year old doing 1000 keepie uppies in his garage on youtube. Must've deleted it. Good player, hope he gets games for them.

To be fair, they don't have a Gareth for him to pass to.

Bale was a bit rubbish in the Euros. Used up all his magic and ligaments in qualifying.

Joe Allen was our 'break play up and pass to one of the good kids' player. He made the team of the tournament as well.

Ramsey is a box player who ran his little legs off pressing high and making runs into channels to get us up the pitch. The number of games he's played where the expectation was he should sit still and distribute to other players to try and score is crazy.

He's not a reject he's the best winger prospect we've got and was tearing up the league with motm performances before a hamstring injury in December. Got his first Wales cap in the last international break. He's not Brooks and WIlson level but he's got a big future nonetheless.

Been watching him since u18s. If we let him go for £2.5m (after spending £2m on Joel loving Asoro) I riot. Don't see why we would, though. He's on affordable wages and has 18 months left.

Oh phwoar I'll be very happy if we get him then, but if I thought we were only after him because he was surplus to requirement but if that isnt the case im now skeptical we'll get him

He should have played our last game now he's fit again but Potter thinks Dyer and Routledge come as a set and can only play together.

Although maybe he's been tapped up and that's why he didn't come on.

Maybe he is surplus to Potter's requirements somehow. We've got shitloads of wingers but they're all either on much bigger wages or are much less effective players. Mostly both. Watching Narsingh and Asoro for the u23s right now and they're both pointless wastes of space.

Aside from the obvious tragedy of this if the plane did crash, would Cardiff be able to get their money back? Or is this going to be the worst signing of the season

I think they'd have insurance on the value of his contract at least.

Makes sense given where they were in 2015. Promoted to the PL with a wage bill of £30m. They've had cash to burn (and an immediate need to spend) even without a shady Russian owner backing them up beyond FFP allowances.

On the Swansea end I can't tell if the rumours are legit or the same old journos poo poo-stirring by hinting about what they've "heard" behind the scenes.

Some Leeds rag reported the offer's been accepted (£6m + addons = £10m) but there were too many spelling mistakes to take it seriously, and it was posted long after everyone in Wales stops work for the day (around 3pm when the rain comes in).

I'm still melting down, though. I watched him as a baby in the u18s.

gently caress Leeds the cheeky cunts trying to make DJ a loan to buy deal last minute and then not even wanting to pay the loan fee up front.

You were already getting a cracking deal from the American prat we've got in charge, but greed meant that other people at Swansea could get their noses involved and scupper the whole thing.

Leroy Fer failed a medical at Villa. Not his biggest fan but he's been playing well and losing two first team players would've been hard to take (Carroll and Montero don't play much so whatever). Glad Bony's finally gone.

Did his cruciates this time last year as well. He can barely jog now. His £120k/week City contract expires in the summer (they're still paying about £30k).

He was never good enough for City, though.
