This match is fine but the finish is something someone with a really weird view of wrestling would think is a good idea. It's like if the people who made the Netflix GLOW show decided to up and create their own promotion. This show is deeply bizarre and dated on multiple levels.

I have zero memory of HHH/Batista, or Roman/Drew, or Miz/Shane. In a lot of ways, the show perfectly sums up WWE in 2019: a loud fart in the wind that smelled really bad at the time, only to immediately pass and never be mentioned again.

Crazy stupid props, we got em. Crazy INSANE props, we got em. And then they tore apart the ring. Gonna nth Mox/Omega for exactly this reason. Half the fun of watching deathmatches is people spending a long time teasing an insane spot, the crowd begging them not to do it while secretly hoping they do it, and then they do it and get a huge reaction. The whole drama is in the constant push/pull of "are they really gonna do this thing, they can't possibly do it, OH MY GOD THEY DID IT." And this match delivered on pretty much every level you could ask for.

Does AJPW have a working relationship with anyone right now? Kento would probably benefit the most from that if he's running out of fresh opponents, but it doesn't seem like they're all that interested in opening their doors.
