That and all the episodes need to be done before they air, we don't do the gaps in airing like the US. The Good Place is a similarly effects heavy show that makes roughly the same number of episodes a season, films them all before they air, but they'll have episodes ready to air in the fall. Now to be fair, they are only "half hour" episodes, and they aren't doing nearly as many location shoots, and when they do it's around the LA area, not South Africa or Tenerife, but it is possible.
