What really irks me is how bad the boat maneuverability is compared to the previous ones. Yes IRL boats can't turn on a dime but that's not an area where I want realism and their goofing around instead of going where I point is not realistic either.

Some og the difficulty is just hassle too as opposed to " real" difficulty, like how on max you can't move buildings even for the whole price, you have to destroy and rebuild them which is the exact same thing except with four times the clicks. Sad!

Ctrl-Q, go to the item tab, then check the "unknown" box and you'll see all items. Click on each to see where you can get it. You cant type "museum" or "zoo" in the research bar and uncheck "equipped"/"in storage" to see those you don't have.

In the Old World self-sufficient islands once the docklands are unlocked, plus one Hell Industrial Island for building ships/goods for the other sessions. In Trelawney the big city, one hell industiral islands for polluting industries, a satellite island for proles, and otherwise resource islands. In the others mostly one hub and satellites.

I kind of like dull islands, as a blank canvas for my vision... the interesting visuals come from what I build there. By contrast the Arctic looks uninteresting to me because even at the higher tier all housing is basically just a bunch of shacks, it still looks very much like a temporary camp and not a city. Different tastes...

Even the most arduous you'll reach long before seeing most of what the game offers, especially noe with 3 years of DLC. My advice, use the achievemrnts as goals instead if you want directed play. But otherwise, put all conditions to the max and it will still be relatively short/easy to reach them.

Also two specialists that give bonus rum from your schnaps distileries/ breweries (plus a productivitu bonus. And they add up). Schnaps being easy as balls I just set up a lot of them on an island and sell the extra schnaps for petty cash to NPC.

Said it before but the best rum production is schnaps distilleries around a union with the two specialists that produce bonus rum and some other productivity bonus. Sell excess schnaps.

There's a bit of weirdness if you don't play the campaign because some of the dlc's dialog/plot seem to assume you do - no effect on gameplay though.
