Yeah holy poo poo Formula E Mexico was amazing. Big crash at the start but then it turned into a fuel mileage race…which is something amazing when it's battery power that's running out.

Holy poo poo! Closest finish in Supercross history tonight and the best SX race I may have ever seen. Bar-to-bar for the lead in the beginning, lots of charges from the rear and mid-pack battles, and the biggest charge to the front you'll ever see culminating in a last-turn pass and 1st and 2nd crossing the line at the same time.

Seriously, try to catch the replay of the 450 main on NBCSN if you can. That was a hell of a race to see from start to finish.

The provisional track map looks cool, going to be mostly outdoor around the building sadly but will go inside for a section in one of the exhibition halls because really, why specify Excel as the location if you're not going inside the center itself. One hell of a spicy pit lane as well.

This is going to be glorious.

Great start, great finish, terribly boring for half of the race in between. But it's still an IMSA race at Sebring and that's always cool and good.

NASA—the 25 Hours of Thunderhill people, not the space people—has announced a new amateur endurance racing series. You don't need a racing license, just a regular ol' driving license.

https://twitter.com/drivenasa/status/1153711707526770688

Seems like this is LeMons, with an emphasis on fun but without the zany cars, but with the option to eventually get a full NASA racing license.

So does this slot between Lemons and Chump/ChampCar on the seriousness scale? or maybe more serious than ChampCar?

First of all, lol that ChumpCar took the ChampCar name

I think NASA TREC is above ChaumpCar here. Classes are based strictly on vehicle performance, and if you run enough TREC races you qualify for getting a NASA license meaning you can potentially race in the 25 Hours, which is safe to say the most significant/prestigious/serious amateur endurance race available to people.

LeMons and ChaumpCar exist in their own worlds and cater to their own audiences, and I think TREC will as well. I don't think NASA would have done this unless there was enough demand for it that they wouldn't dilute the market and stretch the crossover crowd too thinly.

News from the prison continent!

SST cleared to return to Australia full-time in 2020, but will make an appearance at the Gold Coast this year.
https://www.supercars.com/news/more-action/early-return-for-stadium-super-trucks/

And they're making it a night race in 2020 (for the Supercars, not the SSTs (although an SST night race would be dope (but they already had those when they were racing actual stadiums?))):

There are VLC HD streams available for Bathurst this weekend via the Bathurst Channel FOX 506. Plug these into VLC and you're good to go. These may get choppy as more people view them but for things like the support series they should be fine.

US server - http://motorsport-us.cf:8081/

EU server - http://motorsport-eu.cf:8081/

TV Schedule (AEDT) - https://www.foxtel.com.au/tv-guide.html/channel/FOX-SPORTS-506/SPS

Support series practices are starting as I post this.
