Gorgeously realized, but that first half is rough going for someone who's sensitive to depictions of rape & violence against women, however abstract and allegorical. The second half gets real out there with its psychedelic setpieces and soundtrack, but I'll need more time to chew on the resolution and its conclusions. Jean sucks and I'm glad he died. Honestly, I feel like Jean was trying. The kind of poo poo he and Jeanne had to deal with is beyond what anyone could be reasonably expected to handle well, and it's not exactly a shock that he cracked.
