 my iPod classic with rockbox still works. if shuffle supports it you could do that I guess. I haven’t used in a while cause phone is everything. last time I was driving a car that had the old fat iPod connector

 I can’t remember which designer it was, but they would travel everywhere with a case full of iPod classics to hold their terabyte of music or whatever they needed at all times
