Heidegger's career was that he wrote Being and Time, then he became a Nazi, then he became a weird , reclusive technophobe more interested in mysticism than philosophy. I will still insist that Being and Time is worth studying, and is one of the most important philosophical works of the 20th century. Everything after that, not so much.
