Here's an album I made. It's a little all over the place genre-wise, each song sounds different from the others.

This song had plenty of happy accidents like that. Enough so that it got picked up by an internet radio station with over 2.5 million listeners that also wants to feature me in their magazine.

Recorded my latest album with a broken hand after I got hit by a car.
It's my favorite so far.
I'd love some feedback on it.
My distributor/label hasn't released it yet, so here's a SoundCloud link: *removed*
Lyrics are in the descriptions.

Edit: the song I made about coke is my most played and shared one lol

Edit 2: Canceled the release.
Also changed the track listing.

Edit 3: Added more tracks.
Now the story is complete.

Edit 4: Mastered the tracks.
Here's a new link Listen to ILYs, an album by Minuh Ovdot on #SoundCloud

I made this, it's not finished, still need to do vocals and actual production, but it's getting there nicely.

It's mainly synths, samples, keyboard and programming, with a backwards guitar solo and some distorted guitars for flavour. Heavily inspired by trip hop artists like Massive Attack, jazz weirdos like Tom Waits, and some of my usual 90s alt-rock stuff for fun.

I've been incredibly sick and as a result have changed how I make music. I primarily make guitar-focused music, and while I still use them in songs and also write with them I also bought a keyboard (it's very nice) and it's kind of pivoted a lot of how I write.

Edit:
Also gently caress y'all are so good at this.

This motherfucker here? Right up my alley. So drat good. Other poster nailed it with Ben Folds vibes, and I love Ben Folds.

I like who you've listed as your inspirations and your tracks sound pretty docious. if you wouldn't mind collaborating, I wouldn't either - my voice has been compared to the way Tom Waits' does on (in?) Hell Broke Luce. Massive Attack is alright, and Jazz is roses- do you like The Lounge Lizards?

We use similar instrumentation (I started out making guitar-only tracks, added piano, then got blessed with a DAW that contains a wide array of instruments), so I think that our sensibilities might gel.

Here's one of my piano tracks; I ruined the EQ, but the bones are still there:

Here's a track made with the combination of an orchestral string section and drums.

Just sharing those in case you need to hear some of my work before you make a decision.

I also have over 400 guitar-only tracks (grouped into albums complete with ID3 Tags and album artwork) that we could edit into more intricate pieces. I used to release them on Facebook through Mediafire links - I can send you a link to one of the albums if you'd like to take a crack at beefing it up. They were kinda popular when first released, so I figure that updating them wouldn't be just a fun waste of time.

I hope that I'm not coming on strong - I'm effortlessly passionate when it comes to music and other forms of art. Makes me give off an uncomfortable amount of heat, lol. I hope you understand.

Regardless of your decision with regards to whether or not you want to collaborate, I wish you God Luck & Goodspeed.

Take care.

hi. I make breakcore and ambient under the bandcamp name grozny, as well as some other small misc projects (a acoustic improv mashup between me who cant sing and my buddy who can vaguely play guitar, as well as my first album which was an attempt at vaporwave). My best album is " State Of Mental Decay" which is breakcore. I would really appreciate if y'all check my music out. It's been described by friends as
-outsider music
-black metal breakcore
-depressive-suicidal breakcore
-sounds like im overdosing
It's somewhat amateurly made but people seem to like it. Additionally I have some small singles that range from slowcore, to loving with monty python songs, to just screwing around with a bunch of sound clips, and a ambient album based around dante's inferno called "Agrapha"

A BlackMetalBreakcore album based on Dante's Inferno?

That description has purchased a decent amount of my time in advance.

Gonna give your record a spin and then get back to you.

Although my primary album themes are usually either Hardcore Gospel, Death Metal, Punk, or Grindcore (I like to call it DisasterGrind, haha), I have tracks that erase the divide between Rap and Metal.

The lyrics/vocals are often lighthearted stories of, or musings on times I spent with my ex girlfriends. They're typically delivered through (and humorously contrasted by) Death Metal/Grind inspired growls, unchill screams/yells, singing, and other fun vocal styles.

The instrumentals sometimes consist of Rap beats I found on YouTube, but sometimes they're
original.

Sometimes I get unorthodox with the instruments; I made this track's
beat with a gun and a chest of drawers.
