Blessed be the tailors
The masks are cut to fit

Blessed be the woodworkers
The crosses and the gallows

Blessed be the forgers of iron
And the spikes and the barbwire

Blessed be the stone cutters
It took a quarry to bury the dreams
I've been making music since 2000 and I even managed to get a cover in a 2005 goon music compilation (though it didn't fit the theme that it eventually ended up having). However, in the last year and a half, I've gotten super serious about my ideas and I think I want to find a label. So, for your consideration:

Tangent Strategy
Industrial/ebm/powernoise/whatever you want to call it, produced in software with occasional vocals and very rarely involving guitar.

Most of the music here was produced before 2008 when my Mac's hard drive died and the backups were lost. They're not entirely representative of what I'm doing now but the germ of the idea is there. The exception is Intransigent, a three song EP that was initially made in 2003 but cleaned up recently.

Bits and bobs of stuff that I'm not sure what to do with, some of it also old, but some of the newer songs I put here are very much definitely what I am doing with my music now.

I've released my new EP, Shinkeisuijyaku, and it's up on Spotify and Bandcamp (and more places soon enough!) for your listening pleasure. It's short, but it is representative of the direction I'm going and I hope you all can enjoy it.

My first official album is coming out November 26th via EK Product!

It's called Revenant, and it's the culmination of 20 or so years of refining my sound and finding my voice. People who have checked my Bandcamp before know a few of the songs already, but there's also a ton of 100% new material that I've been working on, and I'm excited for everyone to hear it.

One last plug.

My first official CD release, Revenant, is now out and available worldwide through some online retailers and maybe a couple of stores too! The best place I can recommend you picking it up is here: https://www.ekp.store/product/tangent-strategy-revenant/

If you want a preview of some of the songs, they're actually at my Bandcamp on a few of my archival releases. Revenant is currently not up there but it will be at a later date.

And feel free to follow Tangent Strategy at its facebook page, although I feel just as uneasy about it as you do!

I really dig your stuff. It reminds me of Vatican Shadow, although I'm not familiar with the wide world of techno so that might not be the best comparison. Good stuff either way!

Thank you, I deeply appreciate that! I consider my stuff industrial but I don't know what's going on in that scene these days because I don't listen to anything recent there (no shade on them, it's just not what inspires me lately).

I also posted this in the industrial thread, but I figured it's worth posting here as well. I just released my new EP, WASURENAKATTA, which is kind of an appetizer while I get my second CD situation sorted out.

And yes, it has a manga style cover because I asked Bing "what kind of images do you think of when you hear 'Wasurenakatta?'"
