Hello! I copped season tickets for my fairly new local team, Nashville SC. Looking forward to watching us Not Win anything in our last year in the USL before we move on to Not Winning anything in MLS. It is a Nashville tradition. That being said, our team is actually pretty solid, and we nearly knocked regular season winners Cincinnati out in the first round of the playoffs last year, but ended up losing on penos after a great 3-3 full time performance. e: Our stadium won't be finished until 2021 but the Sounds' baseball stadium has been a pretty good venue: brasstassels fucked around with this message at 21:13 on Feb 5, 2019 |

Heading to Nashville's first home friendly vs NYCFC in a little bit. We've been hit with record setting rain over the past few days and it is not stopping so it should be fun. I'll post a trip report with pictures sometime soon if I can be bothered

Nashville just won their opener vs Loudoun United by 2-0! The first goal was a great looping header by Lancaster off a corner, and the second was a mishandled ball from their keeper that Rios pounced on. This was the lowest attendance of any game I've been to yet, at less than 4,000. There were tornado warnings until past the end of the game though so it's likely not too bad a sign. This should be a great season. Our new signings all looked sharp, and we defended pretty well; Pickens was only really tested once. St Louis next week!

So today's Nashville SC game is facing a weather delay... e: over an hour into the delay, not a single drop of rain has fallen, and everyone is being told to take shelter final update: game finally kicked off more than three hours after scheduled time, zero rain during that whole time. baby bulls scored first and we answered with two goals from outside the box, going into the half with a 2-1 lead. at halftime an actual storm blew in, and another delay was called. after about another 30 minutes (getting close to midnight by now) the game was abandoned, to be replayed in it's entirety at a to be determined date. Lancaster scored in his sixth straight game (in all competitions), but his goal will no longer count: https://twitter.com/NashvilleSC/status/1144090664562581504?s=19 brasstassels fucked around with this message at 15:41 on Jun 27, 2019 |

On Saturday, Nashville SC hosted Charleston Battery at First Tennessee Park. The game was tied 1-1 as it was nearing the end, and in the 90th minute Nashville midfielder Lebo Moloto was fouled in Charleston's box, which was not called, then got up, picked up a backpass from a Charleston defender, and scored. The whole stadium went buck wild, but during the celebrations the goal was incorrectly called back for offside. Then, three and a half minutes into three minutes of injury time, Akinyode put in another game winner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BdbAP4djXGg&t=103s https://twitter.com/NashvilleSC/status/1165453079585742848?s=19

https://twitter.com/HomeSweetSoccer/status/1217174637970370561?s=19 lou city, we're sending your hero back. shame he didn't really work out for us. Rios was undroppable though. we also sent lebo moloto, our assist leader last year, to Tulsa FC. only four players from our USL squad made the MLS cut so theres a handful of pretty solid USL level players up for grabs
