Turbo mode is nice, and I had a whole lot of fun doing a new save run of LDK mode and some day gonna do it again with all the stuff unlocked. You get enough money from the mob density to buy everything which is cool. Vergil playthrough the three main difficulties was real fun too. Yeah I'm bummed the ladies arent playable, but I take my poo poo talk back Definitive Ed is good and worth it. The new graphic mode sucks though cause I'm pretty sure it disables turbo and drops it to 30fps lol.

My guess is cause dev cost of marketing needing to tick the raytracing box, maybe testing/QA cost for turbo mode and all too idk. It's criminal that official LDK mode isn't on PC though.

I’m still holding out hope, TBH. They went completely dark after launch and relaunching the game on PS5 with Virgil was completely out of left field, it’s possible there’s a team of like 15 people grinding away on a Ladies Night character pack that gets released this Christmas.

Just swinging by to say I had a freakin blast playing DMC5 and that everything about the game loving owns. I'm sorry I put off getting it for so long due to not enjoying DMC4 very much.

DMC5 is easily the pinnacle of the genre and I'm having a hard time imagining that any other game will knock it off it's spot any time soon. I just wish that the Ladies' Night dlc was real.

Epic is giving away Soulstice this week, which from the first couple hours seems pretty mid. But it wears its DMC influences on its sleeve, so it might scratch that itch for a little bit.

Augus posted:castlevania anime had amazing animation wtf are you talking about i feel like for some people 'bad animation' is just 'animation where you can tell it has frames', which is kind of insane to consider given that a, usually, hand-drawn medium is inherently going to consist of frames and there are absolutely times when just smearing more into there does nothing but make it more expensive and take longer to produce for such a small 'improvement' that genuinely nobody will care like if i wanted to give a personal example of something where i could tell they had absolutely no budget and were told to make something anyways, i watched a bit of junji ito collection and i swear to god there are points where it looks like they dragged a jpeg across the screen
