I have awoken from my LP hibernation like a grizzly bear coming out of its cave in the spring. And much like a grizzly bear, whos habitat is being poluted and destroyed by the march of human progress, the first thing I smell is rotting garbage. We are both disgusted by the smell, but cant help to fall victim to its allure. We gorge on the garbage hating ourselves the entire time, feeling sick after. We should know better, but something deep inside us, perhaps the millennia of natural selection or our ironic self loathing, compels us to partake in the farce. The story follows the protagonist as they are drawn into a war between their biological family and adoptive family, in what could easily be the best episode of Maury ever conceived. The game is primarily a turn/grid based rock-paper-scissors match where you control a group of animé teens fighting for something that they don't know how to articulate. These animé teens all have different stats and battle abilities that I will totally ignore, instead focusing on the Support system. The Support system allows characters who work together in battle to grow in affection with each other, which allows us (and you viewer) to watch terribly written animé skits where they get embarrassed about mundane things. If two characters support rating gets high enough we, as their commander, can tell them to make the gently caress, which is definitely some sort of workplace sexual harassment violation. I'm sure the story tries to present a theme like the "importance of family" or something but I really don't care. There's also a base building section.  Is this real? Only if you believe~ What's the spoiler pollicy? While I'm sure you want to tell us all about Moeblob, our secret-sister-big-tittied-catgirl-ninja-maid who's recruitable in chapter 86, we would appreciate if you didnt do that. We're all playing blind and a lot of the fun of watching a train wreck is the surprise explosions. I don't mind a spoiler tag or two, but please don't make this thread read like a Muller indictment. Why do the videos look like they went though mspaint 50 times. Upload them in 720p you moron! Minifoo did not want to spend hundreds of dollars to send his 3DS overseas to some stranger for them to solder a VGA port to the back of it so were using a software streaming method instead. There are limitations in this, such as variable frame rate, laggy bottom screen, and video compression artifacts. While it isn't ideal I don't feel these limitations will detract from the enjoyment of the LP. And yes I tried emulation, it crashed all the time. Is this going to be like your other LPs where you sucked at every fight, paid no attention to the game, got drunk and yelled and even passed out in a few episodes? I can't recall the events you're talking about. How often are you going to release video? More often that Minifoo did during Rayearth Will you do the Conquest/Revelation paths? That 100% depends on how annoyed/exhausted/horny we all are at the end of the Birthright campaign. Why do you do this to yourself Kuvo? I have a tsundere relations with animé (tl: tsundere means problematic) Why is the avatar character's name Chome?  I don't understand whats going on in the most recent video! It's ok, neither do we. More seriously, I, personally, feel that they crossed a line on her design and accidentally went from "sexy" to "she's creepy because she's trying too hard." I seem to be in the minority on that, though... I probably won't contribute much to the discussion here, since I've beaten Birthright before; however, it's been a while, so I only really remember a few things. First: I hated a majority of the cast (and they hated me back; I kept getting stats that were like half of what I'd need to keep up). Second: I hated the plot so much I rage-quit my second run (I played female, then tried to go through as a male to see the differences but gave up partway). Third: I hated some of the mechanics (not sure if it'd violate the spoiler policy to go into specifics). And yes, that does add up to "I hated this game."
