Propaganda Machine posted:It's too bad forums Survivor died. That was a great way to scratch that particular itch without having to make oneself into any kind of public figure. Are there any links to some good Forums games? I'd be interested to see how it plays out when it's online-only.

Edit: actually I guess I should refrain and watch all the seasons I haven’t yet so I don’t spoil myself on those too!

Alright, I re-got into Survivor during David vs. Goliath and I'm looking for recommendations on which are the best seasons to watch. I've mainly used this list as a guide(http://www.purplerockpodcast.com/survivor-season-rankings-spoiler-free-summaries/) and I've tried to prioritize non-returner seasons before stuff like HvV (which was well worth being familiar with most of the returning players when I got around to it!) Here's what I've seen: Heroes vs. Villains Micronesia: Fans vs. Favorites Cagayan: BBB Cook Islands (race wars lol) Pearl Islands China Tocantins Blood vs. Water (S27) Kaoh Rong David vs. Goliath Edge of Extinction And then I'm pretty sure I've seen Seasons like 1-6 when they originally aired, though I don't remember a ton. Actually watching S1 again right now and it's completely bizarre how different the show is. people are outright rejecting alliances! at the merge like four different people get votes and Jenna's like "i feel like there might have been a conspiracy and Tagi's voting against us" like it's a surprise! hilarious. I'm interested in Cambodia: Second Chance next, but since returnees is the theme, I want to make sure I've seen enough of their previous seasons for the full impact. Anything I should make sure to watch before it?

Just checked the Survivor reddit and Skupin had 69 images downloaded on his laptops (and apparently tried to blame both viruses and his son for it) I think Yau Man’s talking out of his rear end a bit which is admittedly not shocking. Source: http://publicdocs.courts.mi.gov/OPI..._term=control_2

Just finished watching Redemption Island for the first time, what a mess. Maybe the worst batch of Survivor players I’ve seen. Not sure if Rob is a genius cult leader or if they were all just the biggest dopes in the world. Please tell me Philip got some help after this...

Just started watching Guatemala and Jesus Christ were they trying to kill off half the cast immediately? Kicking off a season with a 24 hour 11 mile race through thick jungle is pretty brutal, it’s a wonder there weren’t more injuries in the first immunity challenge.

Some people are just fuckin lovely when they are in control. She's not great at this game, but just hate seein it. I think I'm going to skip the tribal just to avoid hearing any of that. Yeah honestly I was rooting hard for her because those two guys are such douchebags.

Khanstant posted:I like this final 3! I think Adam did maneuvers but made a point to telegraph his moves and he got out of corners a few times. I think that's why I didn't like him despite often liking the moves themselves. It felt very much like he was trying "resume build" in an ostentatious way. Ken played a more straightforward game, kinda boring overall. I think Hannah did a great job placing herself in a swing position often. Flip-flopper is a dumb insult to use against her. Lol at Adam calling her moves "rogue" because they weren't part of his plan. I wonder if Adam hadn’t been going through an incredibly hard situation (and honestly medical bills wise needed the money the most) if Hannah could’ve had a shot. I thought by the end she’d really played a good game. Wasn’t she on the right side of the vote every time but one?
