Week 3 attendance so far: Stallions' first home game in Salt Lake City: 10,641 Orlando Apollos: 20,394. 203 more than in their week 1 home game Tomorrow is the Legends' first home game in Atlanta, after that game every team will have had at least 10k attendance officially (only 2 teams under 15k, Commanders averaging near 28k). Thus far every team that's had 2 home games has had an attendance increase on the second game

In that timespan encompassing the entirety of his professional non-college football career, he threw three interceptions, fumbled twice (in two consecutive plays), and threw no touchdowns. His replacement threw two touchdowns in the one half he got to play, including one on the first drive immediately after replacing Hackenberg

Also Trent Richardson is somehow relevant again and has far the most touchdowns of any non-QB in the league. It is very entertaining.

I feel like you could see most of these attendance struggles coming Phoenix and Atlanta both have NFL teams in the same market Memphis has seemingly never cared about pro teams, but it probably doesn't help that the stadium sucks and the team sucks. Salt Lake City doesn't seem like much of a sports town in general. Not sure what other locations would have really worked out for them given the geography of the league.

syzpid posted:Salt Lake City doesn't seem like much of a sports town in general. Yeah that's not it at all. The issues is more the weather. It was like 30deg in SLC this weekend. The league wasn't smart in putting a team in an area that is still that cold this time of year, and I wouldn't be surprised if it limited growth/forced the schedule to do weird things like was NCAA baseball does to account for it.
