After carefully reviewing the wikipedia plot summary of Mario Land 2: 6 golden coins it should be obvious to anyone that Wario is a rent seeking boomer poo poo head. I mean the guy stole Mario's Castle and made Mario go collect golden coins to get back in. Sounds like some late stage capitalism slum lord poo poo to me.

Sounds like some late stage capitalism slum lord poo poo to me. squatting in some rich assholes' castle is loving badass tho? the problem with Wario is that after he's violently ejected from Mario's mansion, he 'pays it forward' by brutalizing the Black Sugar Gang pirates and stealing their treasures, using the proceeds to 'legitimately' buy a castle/plane/golf course etc. His arc is he starts off as Mario's opposite (penniless, unloved, homeless), but then gradually becomes him. He's the equivalent of a college radical who gets a computer touching degree and then settles comfortably into domestic suburbia

Wario makes entire game companies from scratch and then refuses to pay his employees unless they force him to then immediately shuts it all down until he next needs money ...which is basically normal these days so I dunno Also he steals cultural treasures to use as decorations and costumes

It can be hard to tell the difference because many libertarians are failed capitalists who understand something is wrong but can't pin it because the system is working as intended- except they're not part of the overclass, and they've believed the lies as to how you become so.
