while foldable phones seem totally silly now, I don't doubt that apple will find an actual use for the technology at some point, or just do the whole folding thing better. but seeing as iPhones have only gotten thicker the last few generations, I don't think we'll ever have an iPhone-sized device that can be unfolded into a tablet.

a phone that unfolds into an e-reader would be OK. simply having a larger screen doesn't solve a whole lot for me. at least an e-ink display is easy on the eyes and easy on battery.
