I'm also not sure who would get first rights to sign him. The team that's affiliated with A&M, the team that's affiliated with the Browns, or the team that's affiliated with the CFL team he was with

So the college he went to gives the Commanders first right? Even if he was in professional football? Huh

I dunno how it works when you're banned from a league. I guess montreal doesn't have his rights anymore and the college affiliation is just a catchall

Raku posted:Yes but that's why he's going to be worse. Brick handed receivers that aren't allowed to run before the snap like in the CFL. Zach Mettenberger is the greatest quarterback in franchise history for Memphis, it'd be foolish to bench him after our hot streak of two entire passing touchdowns in one half, and even behind him Hack has experience with the Express and has embraced our franchise culture of playing like garbage, throwing away winning opportunities, and embracing self-destructive tendencies. Could you say any of that about Johnny Manziel?

I loved that Hackenberg sucked I will love it when Manziel sucks Watching ex-NFL players bomb out in multiple leagues gives me some sick satisfaction I cant explain. Maybe Im just a dick

The league did not have an option year window in place at the time – it was re-added last August – and would not allow the stipulation into his contract. Johnny wanted out

Rastor posted:Only 4.7% of eligible Division 1 NCAA Football players get drafted so in theory there's a big pool to draw from The trouble right now is that a lot of the guys who weren't drafted or signed have probably given up football already more or less permanently. The longer the league runs the less of a problem that will be because they can get athletes direct from college (and guys that aren't able to get signed in the NFL know that there is another option and will be likely to pursue a spot in the AAF). I'm not that worried about the XFL either. I think it's gonna be a short-lived joke very much like the first version. I would totally cheer for the 'querque Banditos Raku posted:He was loving atrocious in the CFL and will probably be worse in the AAF sounds perfect, that's exactly what the league needs now that Hack isn't around to throw an interception on every other play

Alex has got the wingspan of an archaeopteryx. One of the feeds from the Orlando-SL game was like this skycam/drone with no sound that flitted around. I really thought it got some great angles and even floated down to this guy with a like a lens cleaner when it got snow on it. I have never rooted for a Florida team in my life but the Apollos are so loving cool, and I love them, and they will make the Iron their bitch. pasaluki fucked around with this message at 05:33 on Mar 3, 2019 |

They're very relaxing, the camera just flitting to and fro and not seeming to care all that much what's actually happening on the field.

There was one part of the game when Salt Lake was practically at their own goalline and had to punt to Orlando and the guy completely muffed it, and because of the snow the ball slid an additional 30 yards downfield so it ended up being a 90 yard punt and that camera had just the money shot of the whole thing, it was absolutely beautiful.
