Recently there was a scandal in Japan regarding the discrimination of female applicants to at least one medical school (I think I heard about at least one other admitting to it). Basically the test scores of women were lowered because of the 'fear' that they would get married and leave, making it a waste of time to train them to become doctors, while 'promising' male applicants had their test scores raised. In Japanese media, it certainly seems more common to see male doctors and female nurses rather than vice versa. In light of that, it's not really a surprise that two sisters in an elite medical family might choose to become nurses since it's more culturally expected. Even Kaede's parents aren't both doctors; one is a surgeon and the other is a professor of medicine, which is kinda blatant. Anyway, it's always interesting to see a VN LP, so good luck!
