TF CURES GENERATOR posted:Yeah but her forces were completely fresh where the Westerosi had been fighting for, what, five straight years? If the forever war has taught us anything its that fighting for five straight years doesn't result in a finely honed army, it results in a million broken infantryman who don't care and want to go home. In that her forces had spent quite a long time suppressing local terrorist groups during an occupation that nobody was particularly happy with.

Is this also the Barry spoilers thread because Barry is good. Braveheart scene in the most recent episode was great. I've got a soft spots for shows about characters who are incompetent at whatever they are trying to do with their lives.

I’m sad that Jamie doesn’t have a piece of dragon glass tied to his metal hand to punch things with.

Death list? Too long Survivor list: Samwell Gilly King Sam Jr first of his name and secretly son of Mance Arya Arya’s daughter, finally Eddard and Robert got to unite their bloodlines Yara because she was smart and hosed off Bronn, also smart enough to gently caress off Pod, who will finish his hero’s journey circa Neville Longbottom

Maisie Williams lasted so long without showing skin that I was earnestly hoping they'd just skip to her leaving the room with a naked and exhausted Gendry in the background

UP THE BUM NO BABY posted:Who else laughed when Lyanna got swept aside? I mean, I knew she was going to die and I'm happy she went out like no bitch but I loving died. Someone produce a gif please. My entire group broke out in laughter at that. And again when they showed it again in the after credits producer talk. Bran's "I'll be going now" also got the same reaction.

Flikken posted:Podrick being a celibate kings guard is a waste Since when have the kings guards ever actually been celibate? Also I read the ending as Jon not taking the black so much as just going north forever with Tormond. I think Jon had already thought to do that when he told Tyrion he'd probably never see him again.

Well sure, but the show has shown the kings guards boning whores left and right anyway. Its a shame Pod won't get a wife if the old Kingsguard rules still stand.

Another subtle take away: you don't get a republic while the nobility still have heads.

Duzzy Funlop posted:Wait, what? There is no nights watch. There is no one manning castle black. There is a giant hole in the wall. Wildlings are friends and the walkers are dead. Jon got 'exiled to the nights watch' to stop the unsullied from murdering him so he could go retire beyond the wall. Pretty sure all the surviving watchmen hosed off to anywhere with a warm bed and loose women
