The ATS with rifles on the Kickstarter are still mid sculpting, but for a good idea of what they will look like, here you go! The Kickstarter is historical but with the opportunity to use them for "what if" style pulp scenarios. So while they were not in active combat, many were trained in the use of rifles and other combat methods in case of the invasion of Britain. So the minis could be used to show them training, or full on in combat, depending what game you're using them for and well, whatever you want to do - they'll be your minis! Ours will be wearing the gear shown here, and wielding Enfields of course. TooFatLardies collaboration - last few hours of my KS for British Home Front. They're working on a FREE supplement with rules and scenarios for all the minis, not just for the women, rules that will fit with your male and existing figures too. As well as women there's hero dogs, pigeons and other critters! Here's half of my recent order from Bad Squiddo painted up. I really enjoyed painting these and can't wait until I have time to finish up the other three I purchased. I used the insert with the models as a reference, but decided on a few color swaps because I wanted the leader to be especially garish. Huge shout out for a number of reasons. Communication was excellent considering the covid situation and the challenges of shipping internationally. Also, I want to take a minute to speak to the quality of the casting. There was zero flash on the 6 models I received. As well, there was a single mold line on the kimono wearing Ronin that was easily filled and filed. I don't know what wizardry they're using to get such clean casts, but they're well worth the price.

What's the shipping like to the US? I want to buy those British Hero Dogs minis - I own a Yorkie myself, and the story of Smoky is a personal favorite of mine as well, so I was thinking about buying a few packs and using little helmet-sitting Yorkies as command point tokens for Warhammer 40K.

Jc - Sorry about that! Tempus - It's weight based so it tells you at the cart bit, usully around £5.50 for a few packs though, so not bad at all! Aw, I love Smoky! Everything has been "interesting" the last year, so apologies for not updating this thread as often as intended, just been me running around spinning all the plates as usual! -------------------------------  On Wednesday (7th April 2021) we'll be launching a Kickstarter to expand this range even more with a whole heap of winter troops as well as more support for the summer/standard uniform. All the sculpts are complete and master cast to make sure they're all excellent, which they are (woooo!) so the Kickstarter is to help people actually see them, and fund the end bit of the getting production moulds made and the first lump of casting. There will be stretch goals too assuming it goes well! We will be doing further Soviet WW2 releases after this too, so don't worry if the unit/troop type you wish for isn't coming in this, the better this goes, the sooner we can get even more reinforcements! I gave a couple minis to Little Ninja Painting to see what he did with them, as he's been building some beautiful dioramas with some of our other WW2 miniatures. he pulled this off in a couple of days! WOW! This is the new winter medic (carrying a chap, and his gun, never forget the gun!) and one of the SMG infantry, and he's built this whole scene with them. It's brilliant, and I love how our minis inspire this sort of creativity!

LAST FEW HOURS! We've unlocked the guitarist, will we get her adoring fan? The Eastern Front is obviously a very grim setting, and whilst fascinating to research, it can get very heavy! This range has a much less jolly feel than the last load of Home Front British miniatures, for obvious reasons (being more front line based) but I wanted to add some endearment in there to make people smile. And when I research these projects, the people definitely make their way into my heart through the memoirs and photographs. So I'd like them to be having a bit of fun. I have a painted version of Jeanne to treat you with! John (Mystic Spirals) could have gone all out on the barding but kept it simple so it wasn't too intimidating, and it looks FANTASTIC! And a foot version, ta daaaa! Also slugs and snails nearly unlocked.  And new bundles of the existing Amazons and Dwarves!  Then... another Kev!  🙋 Q1: "Annie don't you specialise in women.... that are generally more clothed than this?" Yes, generally! Our main point of reference is "suitably dressed" and the question "would the miniature dress herself like this?" and this passes both! She's a belly dancer, and she owns it! 🙋♂️ Q2: "Annie, she is a historical figure from WW1, why is she here?" Why not? Ok Jeanne and Mari were two Kev White purchases from this year, and he is notoriously expensive but absolutely worth it, and I really wanted these two [three] miniatures made! After the work on Jeanne, I really wanted an excuse to use Kev's skills on femme bodies, as of course the former is head to toe in armour. Mata was perfect for this and it's exactly as I had in mind - look at her lil belly! So because of this, Ive added her into the Kickstarter for the reason we're doing the whole thing - to raise funds to get them into production, as well as reach more people, as Kickstarters have a much wider reach than standard straight to shop ones. And I'd like to recoup some of those funds faster, so we can get more sculpts, wahey! Though historical, these "Kevs" fit fantasy settings too, and we are all about versatility in miniatures. Mata can of course be a belly dancer in your fantasy gaming, but also a magic user, princess, anything! A very timeless look!
