You know the liberal mind is sick and twisted when we're relitigating 2016 in a thread about a woman being held as a prisoner for civil disobedience.

Especially since she spent the entirety of the 2016 campaign locked up in a military prison.

weren't those emails from like a solid month after bernie was mathmatically incapable of being nominated lol

bernie lost because he ran a really lovely campaign because by the time he started running the only people available to manage a campaign were d listers, presidential campaigns are a big jump from running for senate in a state best known for one of the highest drug addiction rates

like look at what happened between his campaign and blm, he spent months saying "my socialism will save you all" and "but i campaigned for civil rights" which was incredibly tone deaf response to society encouraging black men to be murdered by cops. the only reason bernie's policies are even moderately good is because of people standing up and saying "your policies are poo poo if you aren't white"

bernie earned his loss, fair and square, despite the poo poo going on behind the scenes. like how can you sit there any say the dnc was a bunch of masterminds when they have been virtually irrelevant since 2008. the dnc is just an inept organization led by rich people who exchange favors to each other, which is the only thing they're actually capable of doing with any proficiency. like if the emails were "we're not going to let bernie's rich rear end friends serve on any boards" then there would be some merit to ratfucking

also are we supposed to care about chelsea manning being in jail after that lame rear end specious reasoning for hanging out with a bunch of super loving high profile nazis

uh, so hanging out with the wrong people should be a jailable offense? gently caress you

Because she would be targeting the secrecy part of the proceedings she doesn’t agree with, openly defying it rather than going to jail for defying a court she would apparently testify in if the hearing were public.

The American people deserve to know what is going on in this court, I’m going to tell them and go to jail is a different stance than I won’t participate in this secret proceeding and go to jail.

Agreed about the fact that she shouldn't be jailed. As far as the hanging out with bad people, I believe right around the time she declared to be running for Senator in Maryland she went to some party thrown or attended by Mike Cernovich and then also an escape room with a similar group of bad people you should in no circumstances associate yourself with.
